In a landmark initiative for India’s entertainment industry, Cininfo, in collaboration with the Sumitra Gupta Foundation for the Arts (SGFA), has announced the launch of the Cininfo Screenwriters Lab 2025 — a 12-week, fully funded online mentorship program for early- to mid-career screenwriters.
The Cininfo Screenwriters Lab will select 12 promising writers, offering them the chance to work closely with some of the most influential voices in Indian cinema. Leading the program as Advisor is acclaimed filmmaker Nikkhil Advani, alongside mentors such as Sudhir Mishra, Shonali Bose, Vijay Krishna Acharya, and Richa Chadha.
Additional support will be provided by Abhinandan Gupta (Screenwriting Coach) and Maitha Alawadi (Program Coordinator).
